The Department of Dermatology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center (TTUHSC) Lubbock, TX is seeking a General Dermatologist (req#17202BR) to join our current faculty of three. The Department of Dermatology has a culture of collegiality, and teamwork! The excellence in service spans from both faculty and staff within the department.

• 90% Clinical; 10% Teaching/Research, practice can be tailored to interests
• Call: Shared equally by all faculty, first calls taken by residents
• Clinic conducted at TTUHSC Main Campus, HealthPoint, and the VA
• Exciting new opportunities in expanding our Teledermatology program!

Our faculty are actively involved in the training of 9 dermatology residents and the selected candidate is expected to be an active participant in our training programs. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications. The Dermatology Department provides a comprehensive range of clinical services for the diagnosis and management of skin, scalp and nail disorders. Our clinic also offers a variety of cosmetic services, such as: Botox, laser treatments, microdermabrasion and sclerotherapy. The department's physicians are all board-certified in dermatology, and their clinical interests include skin cancer, dermatopathology, Mohs surgery, and pediatric and cosmetic dermatology. Our residents are involved in staffing the university clinic and our Healthpoint clinic with about 12,000 outpatient visits per year. Additionally, we see about 8,000 patients at the VA outpatient clinic.

The Qualifications

• Valid TX license (or eligible to receive)
• BC or BE in Dermatology
